Just a note to let everyone know my summer travel plans.

I fly from Cairo to Rochester on Monday, June 23rd. I'll spend time with my dad, perhaps attend PHS graduation, and go to at least two Red Wings games. Then on July 2nd I fly to Baltimore to visit Trayc, go to a Jimmy Buffet concert, and celebrate the 4th of July. On sunday or monday the 6th or 7th I plan to take the train to NYC. I'll visit my sister Kerri and her husband, do city stuff, and perhaps drive to Mass to visit relatives. I plan to fly back to roch around July 16 or so. Then it's off to Ohio. I haven't set the dates for that yet, though.

I fly to Beirut on or around August 23.

I hope to see as many people as possible. Please email me to set up a time and place.

School is over now. I've said goodbye to friends and colleagues. I really don't feel like writing about it, it's too depressing. I need time to reflect and think about how I really feel about this transient life I lead. There are pros and cons to every choice we make. Saying goodbye just happens to be the biggest "con" to this choice of international teaching. I need time to process it all before I can write a coherent essay about it.

Thanks to all of you for staying in touch. I hope to continue the adventure stories in Lebanon, so stay tuned.

Later
